How do we collect your data?
Firstly, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may include, for example, data you enter into a contact form.
Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website, either automatically or with your consent. This primarily includes technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the rectification or erasure of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. Furthermore, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
For this and other questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time.
Analytics Tools and Third-Party Tools
When you visit this website, your browsing behaviour can be statistically evaluated. This is primarily done with so-called analytics programmes.
Detailed information on these analytics programmes can be found in the following Privacy Policy.

The use of the hoster is for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

- General Information and Mandatory Disclosures
Data Protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy.
When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.
We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating by email) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Information on the Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
twentyfourone // motionpicture GmbH
Wiesenstrasse 51
Gebäude 36.2
40549 Düsseldorf
Telephone: +49 (0) 211 977 160 10
Email: info@24-1.com
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage Period
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this Privacy Policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing ceases to apply. If you assert a legitimate request for erasure or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be erased, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g., tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, erasure will take place after these reasons cease to apply.
Information on Data Transfer to the USA and other Third Countries
Our website includes tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not considered secure under data protection law. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that US authorities (e.g., intelligence services) may process, evaluate, and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence over these processing activities.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 PARA. 1 LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING IS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 1 GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to yourself or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, Erasure, and Rectification
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. For this and other questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Objection to Promotional Emails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam emails.
- Data Collection on this Website
Cookies
Our website uses so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or an automatic deletion by your web browser occurs.
In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behaviour or display advertising.
Cookies that are required for carrying out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or for providing certain functions you desire (functional cookies, e.g., for the shopping cart function) or for optimising the website (e.g., cookies for measuring web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent for the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the cookies concerned takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Insofar as cookies from third-party companies or for analysis purposes are used, we will inform you about this separately within the framework of this Privacy Policy and, if necessary, request consent.
Cookie Consent with Usercentrics
This website uses the cookie consent technology of Usercentrics to obtain your consent for the storage of certain cookies on your device or for the use of certain technologies and to document this in a data protection-compliant manner. The provider of this technology is Usercentrics GmbH, Rosental 4, 80331 Munich, Website: https://usercentrics.com/de/ (hereinafter “Usercentrics”).
When you enter our website, the following personal data is transferred to Usercentrics:
Your consent(s) or the revocation of your consent(s)
Your IP address
Information about your browser
Information about your device
Time of your visit to the website
Furthermore, Usercentrics stores a cookie in your browser to be able to assign the given consents or their revocation to you. The data collected in this way is stored until you request its deletion, delete the Usercentrics cookie yourself, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply. Mandatory legal retention periods remain unaffected.
The use of Usercentrics takes place to obtain the legally required consents for the use of certain technologies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR.
Data Processing Agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Usercentrics. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures Usercentrics processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free display and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, server log files must be collected.
Enquiry by Email, Telephone, or Fax
If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your enquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was requested.
The data you send us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
- Analytics Tools and Advertising
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or perform independent analyses. It merely serves to manage and deploy the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager collects your IP address, which can also be transferred to Google’s parent company in the United States.
The use of Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the quick and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, duration of stay, operating systems used, and user origin. This data may be combined by Google into a profile assigned to the respective user or their device.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The use of this analytics tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimise both its web offering and its advertising. If corresponding consent has been requested (e.g., consent to store cookies), processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
IP Anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Data Processing
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic Characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the “demographic characteristics” function of Google Analytics to display suitable advertisements within the Google advertising network to website visitors. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the “Objection to Data Collection” section.
Storage Period
Data stored by Google at user and event level that is linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g., User ID), or advertising IDs (e.g., DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) will be anonymised or deleted after 14 months. Details can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de
Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters specific search terms into Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on user data available to Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). As the website operator, we can quantitatively evaluate this data by, for example, analysing which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.
The use of Google Ads is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its services and products.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
Facebook Pixel
This website uses Facebook’s visitor action pixel for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behaviour of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.
The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Policy. This enables Facebook to display advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. We, as the site operator, have no influence over this use of data.
The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media.
Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and https://de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.
Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its transfer to Facebook. The processing carried out by Facebook after the transfer is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been laid down in an agreement on joint processing. The wording of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for the data protection-compliant implementation of the tool on our website. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. Data subject rights (e.g., requests for information) regarding data processed by Facebook can be asserted directly with Facebook. If you assert data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.
Further information on privacy protection at Facebook can be found in their Privacy Policy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function in the ad settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.
- Plugins and Tools
YouTube with Extended Data Protection
This website embeds YouTube videos. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. For example, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network, regardless of whether you watch a video.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, after starting a video, YouTube may store various cookies on your device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraud attempts.
If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after a YouTube video has started, over which we have no influence.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in their Privacy Policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Google Web Fonts (Local Hosting)
This site uses so-called Web Fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. The Google Fonts are installed locally. A connection to Google servers does not take place.
Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Adobe Fonts
This website uses Web Fonts from Adobe for the uniform display of certain fonts. The provider is Adobe Systems Incorporated, 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA (Adobe).
When you access this website, your browser loads the required fonts directly from Adobe to display them correctly on your device. Your browser establishes a connection to Adobe’s servers in the USA. This gives Adobe knowledge that this website has been accessed via your IP address. According to Adobe, no cookies are stored when providing the fonts.
The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the typeface on its website.
Details can be found here: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/eudatatransfers.html.
Further information on Adobe Fonts can be found at: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html.
Adobe’s Privacy Policy can be found at: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policy.html
Font Awesome (Local Hosting)
This site uses Font Awesome for the uniform display of fonts. Font Awesome is installed locally. A connection to servers of Fonticons, Inc. does not take place.

- Audio and Video Conferences
Data Processing
For communication with our customers, we use, among other things, online conference tools. The specific tools we use are listed below. If you communicate with us via video or audio conference over the internet, your personal data will be collected and processed by us and the provider of the respective conference tool.
The conference tools collect all data that you provide/use for the tools (email address and/or your phone number). Furthermore, the conference tools process the duration of the conference, start and end (time) of participation in the conference, number of participants, and other “context information” related to the communication process (metadata).
Furthermore, the tool provider processes all technical data required for handling online communication. This includes, in particular, IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or speakers, and the type of connection.
If content is exchanged, uploaded, or otherwise provided within the tool, this will also be stored on the servers of the tool providers. Such content includes, in particular, cloud recordings, chat/instant messages, voicemails, uploaded photos and videos, files, whiteboards, and other information shared during the use of the service.
Please note that we do not have full influence over the data processing operations of the tools used. Our possibilities are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conference tools can be found in the privacy policies of the respective tools used, which we have listed below this text.
Purpose and Legal Bases
The conference tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners or to offer certain services to our customers (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR). Furthermore, the use of the tools serves the general simplification and acceleration of communication with us or our company (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If consent has been requested, the use of the tools concerned is based on this consent; consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
Storage Period
The data directly collected by us via the video and conference tools will be deleted from our systems as soon as you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory legal retention periods remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage period of your data that is stored by the operators of the conference tools for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the conference tools directly.
Conference Tools Used
We use the following conference tools:
Microsoft Teams
We use Microsoft Teams. The provider is Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Details on data processing can be found in Microsoft Teams’ Privacy Policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.
Conclusion of a Data Processing Agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider of Microsoft Teams and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Microsoft Teams.
- Own Services
Handling of Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., by email, post, or via an online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data comply with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions, and that your data will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes from job interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary for deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG-neu under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given consent – Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG-neu and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.
Data Retention Period
If we cannot offer you a job, you reject a job offer, or you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application) on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Subsequently, the data will be deleted and physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves, in particular, for evidentiary purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the 6-month period (e.g., due to a pending or imminent legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the purpose for further retention ceases to apply.
Longer retention may also occur if you have given corresponding consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or if legal retention obligations prevent deletion.
